OAEA and Foundation Scholarship and Grant

OAEA is a proud sponsor of the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibit and our president sits on the advisory committee.

The Ohio Art Education Association and the Ohio Art Education Foundation have partnered together to form a scholarship to be chosen from the top 300 of the Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition. The application is for seniors only who are enrolling in an art education or fine arts program at a college. The $700 scholarship may go to the college of their choice and their art teacher can win a $300 grant to enrich their art program. This is a member benefit so the teachers must be an OAEA member for their student to apply for the scholarship and for them to get the grant.

  • Must be accepted into the Governor’s Youth Exhibit this year.
  • Senior in high school.
  • Declared art education major or fine arts major in college.
  • Been accepted into college program for this fall.
  • Your art teacher must be an OAEA member.
