Position:
Full-Time, Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor in
Art Education. This is a joint position between the Department of
Visual Arts in the College of Arts and Sciences (60%) and the
Department of Teacher Education in the School of Education &
Allied Professions (40%). It is a nine-month position.
Qualifications: The Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Art Education, and three
years of P-12 teaching experience are required. Higher education
teaching experience, experience mentoring and supervising student
teachers, a history of or potential for published research and/or
an exhibition record, as well as other contributions to the field
preferred. History of working with urban and culturally diverse
communities and organizations is preferred.
