2009 Teacher Incentive Grant Awards

Due to economic conditions the Ohio Art Education Foundation Board of trustees have voted that the Teacher Incentive Grant Program be put on hold for the 2009-10 academic year.  We will reevaluate in November and see where we are financially. Please watch for an announcement in ArtLine and on the OAEA web site for the reinstatement of the Incentive Grant Program. The guidelines will remain the same.

This is the fourth year for the Teacher Incentive Grant Project funded through the Ohio Art Education Foundation. The Ohio Art Education Foundation’s primary purposes are to reward careers in art education by awarding scholarships to higher education students engaged in art education programs and to support and assist teachers of art by awarding incentive grants.
Foundation grants in the amount of $500 are made available to OAEA members only and must be used for projects that enhance and further art education in the State of Ohio. Two grants are approved every year.
Teachers receiving incentive grants agree to present their projects in a workshop, or General Session at the annual OAEA convention, and complete a short review of the project for the ARTline, Journal and/or the website.
For more information please see the 2008 Incentive Grant Information. Applications are due September 12, 2008.
